Sometimes I wonder why I put the energy into arranging and hosting #TourismTweetup. But once the event starts and I listen to the awesome conversations and insights from those who attend, I get it and I love it and am thankful for making the effort!
Jet from Hootsuite was our special guest at May #TourismTweetup with 16 tourism industry people attending. Jet enlightened us to many Hootsuite features including geo-targetted listening, Hootsuite university and messaging tagging.
Jet also chatted a little about the Hootsuite story and how community building and ambassador building was a key part of the growth of the organisation and this is evident through their Hootsuite Ambassador Program. It is continual improvement and growth that is feed by users and user feedback that give more functionality to the Hootsuite platform.
Hootsuite currently has about 9 million users globally.
